Joydeep leads Canaan Partners’ cybersecurity investing, drawing on more than two decades of experience across enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, and security. His investments include Dragos, Snyk, Axis Security, Aim Security, Novee, and Mate Security, among others. Before becoming an investor, Joydeep was part of the early teams behind Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Skype for Business, where he led cross-functional teams spanning R&D, IT operations, and customer support. This operating experience gives him a firsthand perspective on how enterprise technology is built, adopted and scaled. Joydeep received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, where he was a CRTI Fellow, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University.
