Faris Al Mazrui is Head of Growth at Mubadala, where he leads a team investing in late-stage, high-growth technology companies shaping the next generation of innovation. Focused on North America and Europe, the team partners with founders and management teams of fast-scaling businesses with differentiated technology, strong market positions, and clear paths to value creation.

Previously, Faris served as Head of Technology, leading Mubadala’s multi-billion-dollar capital deployment across enterprise software, cybersecurity, tech-enabled services, and fintech and payments.

Since joining Mubadala in 2010 as part of the Mergers and Acquisitions unit, Faris has worked on a number of critical transactions across global markets including South America, CIS, and Europe, and has closed c. $20 billion of transactions in sectors ranging from commodities and petrochemicals, to infrastructure, real estate, and technology.

Before joining Mubadala, Faris worked with Goldman Sachs in London. Faris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a concentration in Mathematics from Davidson College, USA, and a Master’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science, UK. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in London, where he worked as a financial analyst.
