Deepak Jayaraman is the Founding Partner and Global Head of Ibex, Antler’s corporate growth arm. Ibex
enables leading corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns, and public institutions to access and
harness the venture economy through four integrated capabilities — strategic advisory, fund
management, venture building, and M&A — anchored by its signature Polynodal GrowthTM framework.
Deepak conceived and built the Ibex platform within Antler, the world’s most active early-stage venture
capital firm, and leads its operations and expansion across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and
Asia.
Under his leadership, Ibex has designed and delivered mandates for a range of large enterprises
operating across industries, including, among others, financial services, real estate, retail & consumer,
food production, and maritime trade. His partners include corporates, sovereign-backed enterprises, and
governments with mandates across the US, Europe, the GCC, SE Asia, and NE Asia. He advises boards
and C-suites on how to build, partner, invest, and acquire their way to durable growth in a venture-driven
economy.
Deepak brings more than 25 years of global experience executing high-profile mandates for investment
banks, private equity funds, family offices, and law firms. Over the course of his career, he has led
corporate investment and growth initiatives — and consulted directly to the C-suites of — Abercrombie &
Fitch Co., TJX Corp., 7-Eleven, Inc., Express, Inc., Levi Strauss & Co., Bank of America Corp., Johnson &
Johnson, Lloyds Banking Group, PGIM, Silal, SP Setia, among others.
Previously, Deepak led the EMEA executive office of Goldman Sachs’ Corporate Engagement group,
where he was the principal architect of the firm’s $50M, award-winning 10,000 Small Businesses UK
entrepreneurship initiative. He led international business development for True, a UK-based retail-focused
private equity fund, and built the early-stage India investing practice for the Singapore-based Clermont
Group. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and a venture capital and M&A
lawyer at Mintz Levin in Boston.
Deepak has served as an advisor, mentor, and investor to more than 30 startups globally across
consumer retail, fintech, HR-tech, and media & entertainment. He holds dual MBAs from Columbia
Business School and London Business School and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington
University Law School
