Daniel Kleinmann is a venture capital leader specializing in Space Technologies and Deep Tech. He co-founded Balerion Space Ventures in 2022, serving as General Partner alongside Phil Scully and Daniel Wallman. Balerion invests in early- to mid-stage startups, driving the growth of the new space economy.

Before Balerion, Daniel was a founding Principal at Explorer1 Fund, an early-stage venture fund focused on space sector investments, launched in 2021. Before that, he led early-stage venture strategy and direct investments at a single-family office based in Dallas (2018–2021), targeting healthcare, life sciences, enterprise software, and deep-tech startups.
