Alex Sharata leads NEA’s growth-stage investing practice (Series C to IPO) focused on enterprise, fintech, and consumer. Alex partners closely with several companies, including Brale, Clio, Databricks, ElevenLabs, Horizon3.ai, MoonPay, Perplexity, SBC, Snowplow, VAST Data, and Weaviate, among others. Alex was previously an investor at Vista Equity Partners focused on majority investments in enterprise software. Prior to becoming an investor, he co-founded Fractal, a mobile app security company acquired in 2017.
